Cilantro Lime Chicken Recipe

- 6-8 Bone In Chicken Thighs
- 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 6 Cloves of Garlic
- 1 Cup White Wine
- Lime Juice (2 Limes)
- 2 Cups Chicken Broth
- Fresh Cilantro
- 1 Tablespoon Salt
- 1 Teaspoon Paprika
- 1 Teaspoon Pepper
- 1 Tablespoon Garlic Powder
- ½ Teaspoon Nutmeg
- Preheat the oven to 375 Degrees F.
- Grab a small bowl and mix together the spices.
- Dry your chicken thighs with a paper towel and rub both sides with the spice mixture.
- Let the seasoned thighs sit for 10-15 minutes.
- Heat 2 tablespoons olive oil in a skillet. Brown both sides of the chicken and remove from the pan.
- Lower the heat and add the white wine to deglaze the pan. Reduce the mixture until it starts to thicken and add the chicken broth.
- Bring to a small boil and add the garlic and the lime juice.
- Add the chicken back to the pan and put as much cilantro on top as you would like.
- Simmer the chicken in the glaze for 5-8 minutes.
- Cover the skillet and place it in your oven that has been preheated. Cook for 45 minutes of until the chicken is tender.
- Take it out of the oven and let it sit for a few minutes. Add more lime juice or cilantro if desired.
