Detailed Review:
You can order the Stowabike on Amazon. It is currently available with a bumper 55% discount, as the review is produced. The order arrives in time in a well packed box. However, the bike inside requires assembling. The difficult part here is that if you are not an expert or an experienced rider, you are going to face a tough time getting everything fixed together. This is because the manual which comes with the product is minimal to the extent that you need to do a lot of guess work to successfully get things right. The assembling may differ from order to order, however the Stowabike required fixing of front wheel, seat post, handle bar post and pedals. If you do know what part goes where, you will get everything sorted out very quickly in fact. For novices, make sure that you get your assembly reviewed by a professional mechanic. Don’t keep it off for saving a few bucks as it is a matter of your own security.
Stowabike 26 inch comes with a solid looking and sturdy feeling frame. It is made from industrial grade steel. You might get turned off from the word steel since most foldables come in aluminium with the elite ones in titanium. However, the steel is still not super heavy. In fact the solid feeling gives you confidence to run your cycle over potholes and bumps without a worry about damaging the body. You can also toss it over in your truck without any tension. It is meant to last long and will.
The Stowabike comes with 18 speed system, and even though it is from China it still makes high quality and safe products. The several choices of speed allow the bike to be considerably faster to any other foldable in town and will fulfil your thirst for speed and thrill like nothing you have experienced on a bike. While it won’t win a race against an actual motorbike, the Stowabike is well equipped to commute very quickly around the town and with the smooth shifters by Microshift (The left shifter is a Microshift 3 speed grip shifter while the right is a Microshift 6 speed grip shifter.) and the company’s self-manufactured cranks, you can breeze through the streets and beat that yellow light on the signal with ease and grace. It does however lack pace on hills and rough terrains. The dual suspension system does however allow you to ride on uneven surfaces without worrying about jerks, which are absorbed by the spring shocks installed by the company.
Seating on the bike is not very comfortable but does the job. There are definitely much better and much worse seats available. The positioning is upright for urban riding convenience. Other than that, the seat also has quick release which helps in faster folding.
Handle bar is nonadjustable which can be a bother for people who are too tall or too short. You can always purchase a handle bar extender if it is awkward for you to use the foldable.
The Stowabike can fold and unfold pretty easily and quickly (under 20 seconds). The folding system is the same like most cheap bikes. It is however heavy considering its steel body. This is the result of its low price so there shouldn’t be much complaining about it. The wheels are not quick release which makes it a nuisance to unfold. All in all, it is not the greatest folding mechanism and should definitely not be taken for long distance journeys.
The downsides, which are many, can be really annoying and are definitely not ignorable. There are some plastic parts like brake arms and rear derailleur pulleys, which is not the best thing to have in a cycle. Especially cause they can crack easily during a ride and will become a source of annoyance. You also really don’t want anything plastic to be close to your brakes as it compromises your security in comparison to metal brake parts.
The manual is sparse, with the details in it for a totally bike. Expect to use your mind when assembling this. There has been reports of constant shipping damage for orders all across the country. However the company seems to be unaware of it and has not given a response on its action to correct this nuisance.

Conclusion:
There are some unpleasant reviews for this bicycle, particularly by some bad-to-the-bone bikers. However, for the individual who rides a bicycle from time to time for easy going activity or a lackadaisical coast through the area this bicycle will live up to your needs and desires. Nothing fancy. Possibly not the speediest bicycle on the planet. In any case, it takes care of business without feeling like you are riding on a shabby vulnerable machine which will give on you at any minute. Therefore, in the event that you are not a devoted biker and all you need is bike to move around on, then the Stowabike 26″ Bicycle could be ideal for you. Once on this Stowabike, you’ll overlook that it’s a foldable machine. The ease with which it slices through the city activity makes it perfect for any on-street purposes. The best piece of this bicycle is its convenience with little spaces. This element, be that as it may, may not be sufficient to compensate for its absence of high speed among those pro bikers.
